Meet Ashish – An India Travel Expert You Can Talk To
I m Ashish, an India travel expert and licensed Incredible India Tourist Guide based in Delhi, India. I have spent years helping international travelers understand India, from its destinations and culture to the practical realities that are often difficult to figure out from thousands of opinions online.
Today, I offer something much simpler, a private conversation with me for $20. You can bring your questions, your rough plans, your itinerary, your doubts, or anything that you are unsure about before or during your trip.
Think of it as having a knowledgeable person in India you can actually talk to, someone who can give you a local perspective without trying to sell you a tour, a hotel, a package, or anything else.
“You pay for my time and experience. What you do with the advice is entirely up to you.”

India Based Expertise
I m based in India and have spent years working with international travelers. My experience as a licensed Incredible India Tourist Guide gives me first hand knowledge of the places, culture and practical realities that travelers encounter here.
International Traveler Perspective
I have worked with travelers from countries including the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. That experience has taught me that visitors often have very different questions, expectations and concerns about traveling in India.
No Package to Sell
My consultation is about answering your questions, not selling you a trip. I do not earn more because you choose one hotel, destination or travel company over another. You get my time, experience and honest perspective and then you make your own decisions.
How I Became an India Travel Expert
From marketing and personal travel to helping people make sense of India.
My professional journey did not begin with travel. I started my career in marketing domain, working behind the scenes with businesses in the travel industry and learning how people make decisions, what they value and what makes an experience genuinely worthwhile.
At the same time travel was becoming a bigger part of my own life. I became increasingly curious about destinations, routes, cultures and the details that can completely change the way a trip feels.
Eventually, friends and family began asking me for travel advice. Then colleagues started doing the same. What started as casual conversations gradually became something people genuinely relied on when they were trying to decide where to go, how to travel and what was actually worth doing.
My experience as an India travel expert and my work with international travelers later showed me just how many questions visitors have when they come to India. Some questions are big, where should I go, how long should I stay, which route makes sense? Others are incredibly practical, how should I travel between cities, what should I expect, where should I stay, what should I avoid?
I realized that sometimes travelers do not need another package or another booking website. They simply need someone who understands India and is willing to sit down and answer their questions honestly.
That idea eventually became Travel With Ashish, a simple way for travelers to have a private conversation with someone who knows India from the ground up.
Today, I offer that conversation for $20. You don’t have to book a tour with me, use a particular hotel, follow a particular itinerary or purchase anything else. Come with your questions, and I will share what I know.
Because sometimes the most useful thing you can have before traveling to India isn’t another search result. It is a person you can ask.
My Approach to Helping Travelers
I do not believe you need someone to make every decision for you. Sometimes you simply need the right perspective at the right moment.

“Think of me as the person you can call when you want an honest local perspective on India.
India is incredibly diverse, and advice that works perfectly for one traveler may make very little sense for another. My job during our conversation is to understand what you are actually trying to do and then give you the local context that helps you make a better decision.
I can tell you what I would consider, what I would question, where I think you may be overcomplicating things, and what I think is worth your time. If I don’t know something, I’ll tell you that too.
And because I am not selling you a package, there is no reason for me to push you toward a particular destination, hotel or service. You are free to take my advice, compare it with other sources and make the final decision yourself.
As an India travel expert, I do not believe you need someone to make every decision for you. Sometimes you simply need the right perspective at the right moment.
For me, good travel advice is ultimately about reducing uncertainty. When you know what to expect, understand your options and feel comfortable with your decisions, you can spend less time worrying about the logistics and more time looking forward to India.
